Upcoming Exhibition - Bellingen
I'm busy getting ready for my upcoming exhibition ‘Call and Response’ at Nexus Gallery in Bellingen, Australia from 26 April to 21st of May 2026.
Preparing this body of work as collage and poetry was a labour of love that had been percolating for over twenty years. It tells my personal story of escape from Hurricane Katrina in 2005 with a choir group of 43 and unlocks a broader conversation about climate justice in a warming world.
I’m sharing the space with fellow artist Lisa Zanderigo whose work Ecce Homo: Est Humus focuses on male entitlement in Christianity. I encourage you to check her work out too. Very powerful!
